What is McKinsey Solve?
An online assessment used before interviews. This package covers Redrock Study, Sea Wolf and Sustainable Future Lab. Check your invitation for the games, time limits and instructions that apply to you.
What do I get for free?
One complete, timed scenario from each game, replayable as often as you like. No credit card, nothing to cancel. More scenarios, detailed reports and PDF downloads come with full access. The 30-minute Lab format is included with full access.
Does one payment cover all three games?
Yes. One payment gives you 12 months of access to all three games, unlimited practice and detailed reports. It also unlocks reports for your first completed free runs if they were saved in the last 30 days. Online reports remain available for 60 days; download the PDFs to keep them.
How does the 100% refund actually work?
You must meet all four conditions: be rejected after McKinsey Solve with a result in the 7th decile or below (or 510 or below); provide the official result with your name and date; finish 5 full runs of each game before your assessment day; and request your refund within 60 days. Free runs in the same account count. Rejections at other stages, withdrawals and missed assessments are excluded.
What result do you need to pass?
McKinsey decides who moves to interviews based on the assessment and the rest of the application. The 7th-decile / 510 limits are conditions for our refund guarantee, not a universal McKinsey pass mark.
How long should I prepare?
Start when you receive your invitation. Complete a full run, review your mistakes and focus on one improvement at a time. To qualify for the refund, complete at least 5 full runs of each game before your assessment day.
